As far as I am concerned, the film is rare to me, it's not something that I can like, nor something that I can hate. Bruno Ganz gives such a creepy and masterful performance as the pompous and brutal dictator Hitler. The film does not sympathise Hitler, but it does seem to have an air of melancholy around it. It's mostly hard hitting and disturbing.
