Review of Down in the Valley (2005) by Beck K — 09 Mar 2009
A bleak but fascinating tale of a dysfunctional family exploited by a dillusional man. Edward Norton is alwyas good at playing this type of role, it's the eus I think, and certainly doesn't disappoint.
Sort of the old wild west brought to modern America and the scene toward the end where he stands in the street like an old gunfighter is deeply ironic. Definitely one worth seeing and Norton is ably supported by Evan Rachael Wood & David Morse.
