Review of Down in the Valley (2005) by Mikey M — 04 Jul 2010
Extremely intriguing. The story is beautifully captured in this independent film of the San Fernando Valley. Exquisite teenager beguiles this cowboy, who is much too old for her, but is seemingly more impressionable and naiive than she; there is also something sinister about him beneath his sweet demeanor.
This is not what I was expecting, but I enjoyed this film immensely. Brave acting on the part of Norton and Wood.
