Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by Chris D — 01 Jun 2011
Pure movie-making perfection. There's not much to be said here: the performances are of the highest possible quality (MacMurray and Stanwyck are riveting together, Robinson is his usual brilliance), the script is one of the most engrossing I've had the pleasure to experience, and the story unfolds neatly and dramatically.
That's about it: see this film if you enjoy watching moving pictures.
