Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by Paul B — 02 Dec 2014
Its high intelligence, leading up to a dark final turn, is the most entertaining piece of this film noir based on James M. Cain's 1943 novella that'd received the similar treatment that director Billy Wilder did on his other noir masterpiece "Sunset Boulevard," as well received the same rating. (A-).
