Review of Dope (2015) by Kyle D — 30 Jun 2015
Dope is what happens if Boyz n the Hood and Superbad had a baby. It's a solid film - entertaining and still providing interesting insights. The soundtrack is pure nostalgia fun. My only criticism is that the fun / action aspects overshadowed the emotional aspects.
Looking forward to future work from this director.
