There are a few good things, Stephan Lang gives a pretty threatening performance, the visuals are not bad, and the idea is interesting. However, a good idea doesn't make a good movie. I was kind of intrigued by the idea that it was just these three guys trying to escape this scary man's house and it was going to ignore the zany over the top stuff, that is until the third act.

The "twist" sticks out like a soar thumb. The movie also really drags on from there. Chances are many people will disagree with me given the praise this movie has gotten, but for me, this movie just lacks in scares and unpredictable twists.
