Review of Donnie Darko (2001) by Sonny H — 09 Aug 2015

This movie does an incredible job at portraying a troubled young man; Jake Gyllenhaal is incredible at giving off a charming yet twisted persona, there are many times where he will stare down at the camera in intimidating fashion. Or he gives off a very happy silly smile (like in the jim cunningham assembly scene).

This movie is full of surprises and gives an incredibly complex yet acessible story - this is a must watch for anyone who wants to encounter extremely quirky and charming characters, or want have a story that leaves you questioning.
