Review of Donnie Brasco (1997) by Jichang N — 19 Nov 2009
Al Pacino and Johny Depp are at the top of their game in this. Pacino with his massive presence and greatness makes him the perfect choice for the role of 'Lefty' The music score is always backing up the constant suspense of Brascos cover potentialy being blown at any time.
Another true story of crime and betrayal, again narrated wonderfully. Many conflicts within Depps character, yet a lot of sympathy and understanding developed on Lefty's part, you almost wish the cop aspect was non-existent.
