Review of Donnie Brasco (1997) by Robbie H — 23 Jun 2017
A fantastic performance by Depp shows the ugly side of an FBI agent undercover and what his 'mafia life' does to his real family. Depp's character reveals the male struggle to be accepted by their peers and belong to something more, cosa nostra.
Notable performances by Pacino and Madsen make this gangster film one of the best in the past 20 years.
