Man, I loved this movie! Johnny Depp as a gangster is just downright awesome, and beyond that, this was just massively entertaining to watch. Depp's transformation through the movie was believable, immersive, and scary, yet simultaneously sympathetic.
Pacino, Madsen and the rest of the cast turn out fine performances as well, but there's no question that this is Depp's show. Makes me really wish he'd do more work like this, and even more pumped for "Public Enemies" later this year.
