Review of Donnie Brasco (1997) by Avtar R — 16 Oct 2010
On the whole, a good film. A bit long, dragged out a little bit and could have been made differently to cater to a wider audience. However, it's well made and has some powerful performances by Al Pacino, Michael Madsen and Johnny Depp.
And for the first time, I thought Anne Heche didn't do a bad job either. Probably ranks as one of the better gangster movies and since it's based on a true story, it makes it all the more intriguing.
