I really wanted to genuinely like this movie. When I popped it in, I said to myself "self, it's been too long since you've truly liked a movie, so try your best.".

I tried. While this is not a bad film, it can't pull off some of the deaths that it wants to. The flare gun death made me laugh out loud, as did the mini-boat propeller thing death. Then there's the namesake of the film, the donkey punch. I actually thought I was going to be in for a really disturbing movie because that really got under my skin for some reason.

By the end, I found it too comical to reccomend to anyone but myself...which I suppose is good enough for me.
