Review of Domino (1982) by Henning R — 02 Mar 2010
Imagine a cross between Pulp Fiction, Desperado, Lock Stock and Oceans 11. Now take out all the good bits. And all the sort-of-ok bits. Now add a bunch of black-American stereotypes (rap, gun culture, too much make-up, etc).
Set it in Vegas. Now have Keira Knightley narrate all that Americana with a plummy English accent - a girly version of Vinny Jones, if you will, but without the sense of humour. So far, so awful. The ending manages to be even worse.
I have no idea how.
