Yet another powerhouse performance from Kathy Bates in a Stephen King adaptation. Jennifer Jason Leigh was outstanding too as Dolores' tortured soul daughter. Was quite weird too seeing John C. Reilly playing it straight.
Not a great advert for the Maine tourist board though! It looked about as appealing as a wet weekend in Scarborough.
