I thought the acting - Omar Sharif aside - was not all that it was hyped to be. And I don't know about a love story...it was very (forgive the joke) cold for a love story, but it was an interesting tale and a must-see for anyone interested in the genre of sweeping historical epics or the Russian Revolution.
I'm sorry I waited so long to see this one. Now I'm really curious to read the book!!!
