Review of Doctor Zhivago (1965) by Rita L — 28 Oct 2008
I thought it was interesting. I liked the way Lara's character was created a women who was a litle lost till the right person came into her life. Even in the rape scene you couldn't really tell if she was really raped or she gave in, but when her true love came into her life it's like she found peace in herself.
I loved the scenery and was very suprised that the movie was made in Spain... pitty that in those times the director couldn't do it in Russia, that would have created a real atmosphare.
