Review of Doctor Zhivago (1965) by Jonathan S — 11 Mar 2009
A very long, but very enjoyable epic from David Lean. Sharif is great but Steiger and Guinness steal the show. Fantastic cinematography brings this gripping tale about the Bolshevik uprising to life. My one complaint: the affair is the least affecting element of this grand spectacle.
