An epic film that has stood the test of time Doctor Zhivago is a true classic of the silver screen. Omar Sharif, Julie Christie, Alec Guinness, Rod Steiger, and a marvelous supporting cast combine with a superb musical score and a grand story of love and turmoil in 1917 Russia.
David Lean has made several classic films, Lawrence of Arabia and bridge on the River Kwai among them but Doctor Zhivago is and will remain my all time favorite David Lean movie. A beautiful film that is well worth seeing again and again, that is Doctor Zhivago.
