Review of Doctor Zhivago (1965) by Selcuk O — 29 Apr 2011
Other than being a cinematic masterpiece that constantly marvels and surprises visually, its a strong tale of the fight of the individual to live and express himself in a world of agendas and ideologies offering little but destruction and suffering.

proposing an infinitely less personal and interesting movie. AS far as the love story goes, you don't choose who you fall in love with, they say, and this story follows that tragedy to a tee and delivers a royal coup de grace.
Romantics have a tough time in life, another message delivered by this classic.
