Review of Do Revenge (2022) by Jluis_001 — 25 Sep 2022
While it was hard to overlook the fact that all these high school kids already look old as **** Do Revenge wasn't as disposable as I initially expected, though that's far from flattering, especially when its influences are so noticeable, and it doesn't do anything better than them.
I think the most hilarious thing about this movie is that a lot of the people who have praised its characters are people who would actively criticize the kinds of things they perpetrate.
I don't know about you, but watching two people that are turning villains by doing the same things that others did to them isn't the best of premises, even in a comedic key. **** people are **** people no matter what. And I'm not the type of person that turns the other cheek, but when you preach becoming the very thing you're supposed to be attacking, I have to say that it will be virtually impossible for me to root for you, and that´s what inevitably happened with this movie.
