Review of District 13: Ultimatum (2009) by Jared N — 03 May 2010

I have to say I was horribly unimpressed with this sequel.

The first movie (although lacking in a hard story) had a series of exceptional action scenes, villains with a personality, and no real down time.

This sequel had very weak action scenes that were few and far between and didn't really feel "new" or "clever". The story was just a mess, and the overall pace of the movie was slow and anti-climactic... there wasn't even a "final" fight.

The "villains" were horribly 2D and lacked any real personality.

Stick to the original District 13 if you are looking for something worth your time.
