Review of Disco Pigs (2001) by Jim B — 19 May 2011
What a weird, dark drama, and it wasn't made in Hollywood! I'd never heard of it, nor the lead actress and actor. Elaine Cassidy, as Runt, is mesmerizing, lovely, and is convincing as a 17 year old, though I think she was 21 in actual years during the filming.
Odd film, but as I'm of part Celtic descent, I liked it. One critique; some of Cillian Murphy's enunciation was lost on me.
