Review of Dirty Pretty Things (2002) by Steve C — 20 Jan 2009
Stephen Frears directs this raw, unflinching look at illegal immigration in London. Chitwetel Ejiofor proves himself to be more than capable as a leading man as he really carries the film by keeping the character interesting amidst a narrative that teeters on the brink of existing soley to torture the viewer.
Overall, its a well acted and well written film that is worth a watch but is certainly not for the feint of heart.
