Review of Dirty Pretty Things (2002) by Intuciic . — 28 Mar 2013
A heart-rending, gut punching film about the plight of desperate illegal immigrants and how they are preyed upon by the unscrupulous. Audrey Tatou is wonderful, as is co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor. Unlike other films in this genre, the ending has an element of ironic justice and hope, but at the same time makes us realize how our lives are affected by the accident of our place of birth.
