A British thriller film directed by Stephen Frears. Plot revolves around two illegal immigrants played by Audrey Tautou and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Film captures sentimental grievances of characters, who struggle miserably to manage and lead their lives in London.
It is peculiar story demonstrating sorry-lives of miserable illegal immigrants, forced to succumb to wills of native people, who they work for in order to remain in the country. Very intense in delivering its challenging subject, and it does work actually.
