Dirty Dancing (1987) C-100m. BOMB D: Emile Ardolino. Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, Jerry Orbach, Cynthia Rhodes, Jack Weston, Jane Brucker. "Innocent" 17-year-old Grey meets dancer Swayze in this monumentally boring movie.
No substance, no surprises; finale is unashamedly obvious even before predictable conflict sets in. Supposedly set in the 60s, but uses music clearly from the 80s! It isn't even remotely erotic, like its title and adds proudly proclaim.
To think people ate this when it came out is an abomination. Followed by DIRTY DANCING: HAVANA NIGHTS.
