Review of Dinner at Eight (1933) by Ross B — 28 Jul 2007
One of Warner Brothers huge cast films in which they would take all their major stars and throw them all together in one film, it seems as though Warner Bros. would hope that would make this film more interesting when it really doesn't.
Wallace Beery is great as always, as are the Barrymores, but the film becomes to convoluted and confusing at the beginning, but makes up for it in the middle and end. Enjoyable but probably only once.
