Review of Diner (1982) by Drew S — 12 Jan 2009
A very dialogue-focussed film that requires some concentration from the viewer to be truly appreciated. 'Diner' is a movie that was obviously made with a male audience in mind and, because of that, the female characters are quite weak.
But there's still plenty here for the female viewer to enjoy (not least some of Hollywood's leading men back when they were young and cute). There is a great soundtrack throughout and some genuinely funny and heartwarming moments.
