Review of Diner (1982) by Matt C — 22 Jan 2015
This is one of those movies where I appreciate it and its legacy more than I actually like it. There are a couple quick good bits but those are so brief and sporadic that they kind of add to how disjointed and meandering the screenplay is.
If something works, it's because of the actors, even if their characters are really annoying at times. The ending is cute, though. If only that part's themes carried through more consistently.
I really hate to say it, but I was bored for a lot of it.
