Review of Diner (1982) by Mike H — 11 Oct 2010
This is exactly the film that "American Graffiti" wanted but failed to be. A clever script, a recreation of 1950s counterculture, and a group of actors serious and talented enough to bring it all together.
"Diner" is more endearing and truer than every look-back-at-the-1950s gee-golly movie I've seen.
