An excellent movie. but not for the reasons that I usually like a bollywood film. it was pretty heavy...
The plot was pretty typical. boy meets girl. boy falls in love with girl. girl turns out to be a terrorist. boy gets physically and emotionally abused in the course of trying to save india from her nefarious plot. and then the beautiful yet tragic reconciliation...(that's right kids. don't try that one at home.).
Yet the music and dance were both excellent. the lyrics were amazing. and every action and image is dripping with intensity and literary consistency. a real work of art.
