Ah, the music documentary that makes you really happy & really very MAD at the same time! The Dandy Warhols, the mildly interesting band, come across as lovely well grounded people really having a go at making it big.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre however, comes across as the biggest bunch of LOSERS the world of music has ever produced. The BJM parts could be a spoof comedy in themselves, they are so ludicrous. Even if you have no affection for The Dandys or BJM, this is a must see.
I enjoyed it as there wasn't too much performing & a lot more about the two bands careers and how f**ked up BJM really are.
