Review of Dick Tracy (1990) by Matthew T — 17 Jun 2008
A feast for the eyes with all the vibrant colors, oddly shaped gangsters, and cool effects. The story may have been no more believable then a Chester Ghould's comic-strip but that's not the point of this film.
This film and the first Batman film feature two of the greatest on screen backdrops of all time. Not to mention that like Batman the film makers went through painstaking details to flesh out all the artistic detail from the comic book. Like all good films it sucks you in and you feel like you're in the midst of all the fun and action.
Top 5 film A+.
