Review of Diary of the Dead (2007) by Roman R — 13 Aug 2009
The interesting hook in this zombie film is that most of the footage is supposedly shot by the film students who are the featured group of survivors in a zombie apocalypse. The movie was directed by George Romero so as expected, the story, special effects, and scares are all pretty good.
The acting is okay (more than you can say for a lot of zombie movies) but unfortunately there is nothing special about the movie that makes it stick out. It is a decent watch if you like zombie films.
