Review of Diary of the Dead (2007) by Ken S — 23 Feb 2014
Sadly this film is never as good as its concept. The characters are unlikable for the most part, and they don't act relatable or speak naturally. Like the girl would go to her home, and instead of just pulling out a key or just picking up a key that is hidden she has to tell us "they always hide a key" then she picks up a key that doesn't look too hidden.
Points for at least one original character: Samuel, the dynamite flinging deaf Amish guy. A similar problem that plagued Cloverfield with this concept is that the guy who holds his camera throughout the disaster.
..is kind of an annoying asshole. Could've been a lot better ,but I can't honestly say how.
