Review of Diamonds Are Forever (1971) by Bryan F — 06 Feb 2013
This was the first Bond film to start better than it finished. While the characters of Mr Wint and Mr Kidd were both hilarious and horrifying, the movie didn't excel elsewhere. With an almost comedically useless Bond girl, slow chase sequences and an aging Connery, it could never live up to the likes of Goldfinger or You Only Live Twice.
It had a nice opening theme though.
