Review of Diamonds Are Forever (1971) by Kevin G — 13 May 2013
While I love Lazenby in OHMSS, it's always good to see prime Connery as Bond. If it weren't for him, this movie would've been a total mess. Charles Gray makes a terrible Blofeld, the moon buggy is pure silliness and what could've been an incredible car chase ended becoming boring the fourth time they started rolling around that parking lot.
The title song kicks ass, and gets better with every listen, and Connery being present, Diamonds are Forever isn't great, but still a pleasant way to kill 2 hours.
