Disappointing. So many good people in it (Dane DeHaan, Kevin Durand, Stephen Moyer, Alessandro Nivola, Martin Henderson, Bruce Greenwood, and especially excellent performances by Firth and Withersoon), but the script and direction are frustratingly lacking - the whole things feels like a midday telemovie - especially considering the existence of the thorough and comprehensive documentaries on this awful case (and the shocking incompetence of the police investigation), 'Paradise Lost' 1, 2 and 3, and 'West of Memphis'.
