Review of Devil (2010) by Melanie K — 12 Nov 2011

I watched this movie out of pure curiousity...and I certainly do not regret it. It's actually the first M. Night Shyamalan movie that kept me interested until the very end. "Devil" is a claustrophobic rather low-budget movie set in an elevator in which 5 people get stuck.

What four of them do not know: one is the Devil himself in a human body...and he has a nasty plan for those four souls. "Devil" isn't scary per se...but thanks to good photography, it does have its moment that might make you jump.

I wouldn't recommend it to people who are claustrophobic or afraid of riding in elevators...but to everyone else it's actually good entertainment if you are into light horror and/or psychothrillers.
