Review of Devil (2010) by Julie T — 11 Apr 2014

I like my "horror" light on gore and heavy on story and "Devil" was a pleasant surprise. Five strangers are trapped in a lift and gradually they begin to unravel, while increasingly more desperate attempts are made to free them.

Not completely gore free but not overly bloody this tense intelligent thriller keeps the action moving and keeps you guessing, which one is the "Devil" and why do any of them deserve what is to come ? I enjoyed it, but as I say I'm not into hard core blood and guts , preferring story to gore, more of a who dun it rather than a slasher.
