Review of Detour (1992) by Tony C — 12 Nov 2008
Good film noir about a guy hitchhiking from New York to Hollywood to be with his "gal" with just the clothes on his back. Completely broke and exhausted, he is picked up by a good Samaritan. It's at this point his woes increase tenfold.
Enjoyable and fairly short yarn. The protagonist is likable and a decent enough actor, but not brilliant.
