Review of Detour (1992) by Ross B — 31 Jul 2010
A classic example of what was great about film noir in the '40s and '50s. The film is short but it is still able to tell a good story. Tom Neal and Ann Savage do a great job playing off of each other and the film keeps the suspense going.
In the end though it is not as great as some of the truly great noirs like The Maltese Falcon or Double Indemnity.
