Review of Detour (1992) by Scott C — 11 Jan 2017
Turner Classic Movies is always a great way to grab a few Films Noir for later viewing, and I was pleased to finally get around to crossing this one off the list. The story of a poor bastard caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, when a man he catches a ride from suffers a coronary and dies, our hero tries to avoid letting anyone know lest they think he had something to do with the death. This eventually leaves him under the thumb of a manipulative Femme Fatale, and things get increasingly bleak.
Great little low-\budget affair, and well worth tracking down if you are into the genre.
