Review of Detour (1992) by Brian D — 01 Aug 2010
Errol Morris calls it the best American film ever made and while I'm not willing to go that far it is a great little noir. At just over an our it's cut pretty tight but still manages to feel solid.
Great dialogue and the scenes with Tom Neal and Ann Savage are as good as any protagonist/femme fatale interactions you'll find.
