Review of Detachment (2011) by Dori M — 31 Oct 2012
White teacher in a rough urban highschool. Sounds oddly familiar to me but this was a good one. This film was gloomy and filled with despair and left me wanting to crawl under a rock but I liked the acting, tone, and story.
But be warned that this is not a feel good movie by any stretch of the imagination.
