Okay, I had to re-review this after a recent watch. It's a pretty good action movie with a brilliant plot and cast. Everyone shines and has their funny moments, especially Sly and Snipes. There's some really good quotes and cult nostalgia, and the state of the future was superbly written.
Definitely an underrated movie.
