'Deepwater Horizon' is action packed but plot lacking. It focuses on the BP oil spill disaster. From a visual perspective it's fantastic. Too much stuff gets blown up for only 10 people to die.
BP guys are painted as greedy which seems like it's true, and we should never let the BP guys off the hook for this disaster. It's also really hard to follow where everyone is on the boat. That takes away from the flow.
I'm also not sure if Malkovich was channeling Teddy KGB as Vidrine, the BP oil executive.
