Guileless, without tension, and full of explosions and bodies flying around, Deepwater Horizon tells a true story without a lot of heart or gumption. Its straight forward as it can be to a fault, with shameless foreshadowing and a bad acting performance by John Malkovich.
Lone Survivor was way better.
