Review of Deepwater Horizon (2016) by Rebecca31 — 04 Oct 2016
Based on the true events surrounding America's worst oil spill in history. However the use of the phrase "based on true events" is debatable, more like a made up story with pictures of the actual people shoved into the credits.
Aside from the unnecessary back story for Mark Wahlberg's character and the overuse of bad omens leading up to the disaster it's worth a watch. Very well made for the most part and generally gets better as the story develops.
Recommended.
